Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent training/experience plus 4 years of related experience.
• Strong analytical, writing and communication skills.
• Individuals must also pass and maintain a Background Investigation to access the required information systems.
• Requires operating application software including word-processing and spreadsheet programs.
• Working knowledge of MS Access a plus.
• Position may require travel.
• Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.
Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:
Work is performed in a variety of settings including an office environment, warehouse, and outside. This position requires travel and physical exertion at various times. Typical office environment with no unusual hazards, occasional lifting to 30-40 pounds, constant sitting while using the computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, must possess planning/organizing skills, and must be able to work under deadlines.
Job Description: URS is looking for an ILS Specialist to join our team in Aberdeen, Maryland! This position is contingent on contract award.
The ILS Specialist reviews and coordinates complex activities related to real properties and operating businesses. Provides operations support to the Director of Asset Management by tracking and monitoring all real properties, operating businesses and related issues. Attends client meetings and briefings related to real property asset management.
Essential Responsibilities:
Develops and maintains a variety of manual and automated tracking and monitoring systems for all real properties, operating businesses, management, subcontractor, and other services and support procured by Asset Management.
Assists in the development and revision of asset management approaches, policies, and procedures. Prepares a wide variety of documents, reports and presentations. Maintains all asset management documentation. Works on special projects related to real property asset management activities on an as needed basis.
Assists the Director of Asset Management in the daily management of the directorate. Provides direct supervision over the automated record keeping processes.
Functions as a member of the cross-functional team to resolve operational issues of consigned businesses and provide recommendations for their acceptance and future management.
Provides functional support to the Manager of Contracts and Procurement for developing and writing specifications, Statements of Work (SOW), and contractual terms and conditions for operators of consigned businesses.
Monitors all sales and acts as a liaison with the Sales Directorate.
Supports periodic post-award managerial analyses of operating businesses to monitor their performance.
Reviews court orders and other legal documents, occupancy agreements, operating business leases and related contract instruments for completeness. Coordinates activities related to real properties and operating businesses to ensure all management and contractual issues are resolved before closing.
Assists in evaluating AMD procedures, recommends operational changes, develops and conducts AMD policies and procedures training program for Region and Direct personnel.
Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
