          Opportunity Details:
          Overview:

          Supervises and manages the daily activities of configuration and operation of systems which may be mainframe, mini, or client/server based. Assist with the optimizing of system operation and resource utilization, and perform system capacity analysis and planning. Provide assistance to users in accessing and using business systems.

          Responsibilities:

          Coordinates day-to-day service operations on Enterprise Services which includes Windows Server administration, Active Directory management, and NetApp SANs, Network Attached Storage, IIS,
          SQL Server, SCCM, and SCOM on development and production virtualized networks.
          Manages general Windows Server administration; patch management; maintenance, upgrades, installations, troubleshooting, and decommissioning.
          Manages Active Directory, creates and troubleshoots group policies,
          creates user account, and LDAP.
          Manages NetApp SAN storage system; creates LUNs and Volumes to keep up with the expanding network.
          Monitors system performance and work closely with other teams to
          ensure continuity.
          Maintains inventory of equipment and documentation of activities.
          Develops and documents system standards.
          Recommends and schedules network repairs.
          Monitors server and network performance.
          Escalates email service tickets.
          Performs ongoing system upgrades and special projects.
          Must be flexible to work odd hours to accommodate after hours support (when required) and maintenance windows.

          Qualifications:

          At a minimum, a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school; Accredited schools are those reported to the US Department of Education and maintained within the Secretary of Education’s database.
          A minimum of seven (7) years experience with Windows server and SAN administration.
          Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) or similar certification desired.
          Comptia Network + certification desirable.
          Must be a US citizen.
          Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance. Active Secret clearance highly desired.

          Physical Requirements:

          Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
          Must be able to lift and carry 25 lbs.

          Work Environment:

          Position is located in Aberdeen MD.

          Equipment and Machines:

          Network equipment.

          Attendance:

          Tour of duty is between 6am and 8pm.

          Other Essential Functions:

          Extensive experience with Windows Server management, planning and administration experience including patch management with tools; Storage Area Networks, Active Directory, GPO creation and troubleshooting, user account creation, LDAP.
          Experience with NAS, DNS, and network monitoring tools.
          Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
          Strong organizational and time management skills.
          Excellent Customer Service skills.
          Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
