          SUMMARY: Under close supervision, assists the Staff Pharmacist in performing routine technical duties such as compounding, distribution, inventory control and storage of pharmaceutical items. Patients served include Neonate thru Adult-Geriatric.

          EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: To qualify for the position, the candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent required. Six months hospital or general pharmacy experience preferred. A minimum of one year experience as a Pharmacy Technician is required.

          SKILLS & ABILITIES:

          · Ability to read, interpret and transcribe data required.

          · The ability to ensure the confidentiality and rights of all patient and departmental documents is required.

          CERTIFICATES, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS: Certified as a Pharmacy Technician required.
