Peninsula Regional’s Medical Group employs physicians and mid level providers in Family Practice, Hematology and Oncology, Gastroenterology, Occupational Medicine and Urgent Care, Cardiovascular Surgery and Hospitalists at Peninsula Regional Medical Center.
OurChief Operating Officerwill provide leadership and strategic direction to the Peninsula Regional Medical Group to ensure that practice site management has the focused operations, facilities, operating systems, information systems and resources to achieve optimal health outcomes. The COO will be responsible for the integration of new physician practices as well as the oversight of supply chain management and process improvement initiatives. The COO, in concert with the Chief Medical Officer of the Group, will also have responsibility for crafting a clinical, specialty-specific performance dashboard that will ensure the medical group is practicing the highest quality, evidenced-based medicine. As a key leader in the PRMG, the COO will collaborate on the development of a medical group strategic plan in order to ensure the growth and development of the Group consistent with the strategic imperatives of Peninsula Regional Health System.
