          Facilities Manager

          Responsibilities:


          1. Responsible for all phases of project management including:


          • Develop specifications for new equipment and oversee its procurement, installation, and startup.

          • Manage Facilities Services Group in support of plant technology on the production floor.

          • Coordinate activities with architects, engineers, and subcontractors as required.

          • Communicate with all levels of personnel to provide updates and advanced planning.

          • Evaluate manufacturing processes and implement improvements including:


          • Drive process improvement that is focused on results.


          • Utilize Lean Manufacturing techniques and tools to foster a continuous improvement culture.

          • Work directly with production employees on projects that improve key metrics.

          • Lead plant-wide safety initiatives in support of corporate goals and OSHA guidelines:


          • Implement existing programs and develop new approaches to manage the safety of our employees.


          • Coordinate efforts of the Safety Committee, accident investigation, root cause analysis, training, and compliance requirements.

          • Conduct audits, maintain log books, prepare monthly reports, and interface with outside agencies and consultants.

          • Collaborate with other manufacturing sites to drive Best Practices and an incident-free workplace.
            REQUIREMENTS


          • A bachelor’s degree is required (Engineering or related degree preferred).


          • Minimum three to five years’ supervisory experience in a production or manufacturing environment.

          • Familiarity with industrial automation including servo controllers, PLC, and CNC controls.

          • Knowledge of OSHA regulations

          • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

          • Excellent planning and organizational abilities

          • High energy and ability to multi-task

          • Assertive and persuasive abilities

          • Strong problem solving abilities

          • Reliability and initiative to be able to work effectively in a fast-paced professional team environment
