Leidos Configuration Manager in ANNAPOLIS JUNCTION, Maryland


_Program/Job Summary:_

This position is for the support of developmental and operational systems under the umbrella of an Enterprise IT program. The Jr. CM manager will be assigned to teams to implement CM discipline for the entire life cycle of systems from initial requirements/capabilities baselines to system end of life. This position includes participating in the maintenance and development of the environments for hardware and software product build, staging, testing and integration. The CM manager will create product build scripts and procedures, and integrate scripts with the hardware and software build process. He/she will also implement hardware and software version control processes, policies and procedures and use CM tools (e.g., DOORS, Eclipse) to store, track, and manage configuration items.


The CM manager will create and maintain configuration baselines; recommend automated tools to implement CM policies and procedures; and develop or maintain CM plans, policies and procedures (as appropriate) tailored to the complexity and scope of the assigned system. He/she will perform change control and configuration audits.

An Associate of Art’s degree in a technical or business discipline is required. Two years’ of experience as a CM in a program(s) of similar scope and complexity are required. An additional two years’ of CM experience may be substituted for an Associate’s degree.


Experience with at least one CM tool.
