JOHNS HOPKINS HEALTH SYSTEM
ALL SHIFTS (DAY, EVENING, NIGHT)
Under general supervision, but according to established policies and procedures, performs various duties under the functional areas of Inventory Management and Receiving. These duties include, but are not limited to: receiving, shipping, ordering supplies, determining inventory levels and monitoring supplies using JHHS Materials Management Information Systems.
Work Location: Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, 5550 Warehouse
Pay Grade: NC
High School Diploma or GED
JHHS HSE motorized pallet jack certification is required within six months of employment
A minimum of two (2) years of experience in inventory management including receiving, storing, and staging materials. A minimum of six (6) months experience using automated inventory management computer systems.
Knowledge of medical supplies and terminology.
Knowledge of the methods and procedures of taking inventory and determining inventory levels.
Computer knowledge in using MMIS, asset management, UPS Trackpad, work processing, spreadsheet and bar code software systems.
Good verbal and written communication skills in dealing with customers and suppliers.
Typing ability, primarily using PC Keyboard.
A demonstrated history of problem solving skills.
