ASRC Federal Holding Company Software Engineer - HELIOS in Lexington Park, Maryland

We are seeking a Software Engineer to support a DoD contract.
The selected candidate will:
Provide software engineering resources to support design and definition of associated work packages associated with the HPCMP Helios software architecture, including building and installing, and executing CREATE AV-related software development projects.
Task areas for this special project in support of Helios software development and under the strategic direction of the Helios Principal Developer will include, but are not limited to:
Build and install Helios on DSRC resources
Build and deliver Helios installers to industry users
Provide support/troubleshooting for installation issues
Development of build and installation tools, such as the build Cmake infrastructure, build scripts, etc. with a focus on optimizing build systems:
Setup and maintain a system for continuous integration, such as Jenkins
Coordinate development efforts of improved build/deployment technologies with other Create-AV build masters, such as those for Kestrel and Genesis-Design. Fill in duties of other build masters as needed when others are not available
Expand the coverage of automated tests and system tests
Writing system documentation, provide input to end-user documentation.
Execution of other duties as assigned.
Place of Performance:
Work will be performed in collocated location with Create-AV Quality Assurance group proximate to Patuxent River NAS, Maryland. Some parts of work identified by Helios Principal may be conducted remotely.
Weekly Activity Report
Monthly Summary Status Report
Helios source code and build master supporting software via GIT repository at the end of each development sprint.
Development of test plans and reports, and other related documentation as required.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or any other technical discipline required or equivalent experience. Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience. Master's degree is preferred.
Significant experience with HPCMP DSRC system required.
Development experience to include C++ and Python.
GUI component development experience.
3D geometry models experience.
Knowledge of source control systems such as GIT or SUBVERSION.
Experience with issue trackers.
Must be a US Citizen.
May be required to obtain a Secret clearance and be eligible for a Top
Secret clearance as necessary.
