Description/Job Summary

The Salisbury Processing Plant of Perdue Farms located in Salisbury, Maryland is looking for an experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanic . Candidates with both industrial maintenance and electrical experience

are strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities/Duties

General duties are to repair, install, maintain and adjust all equipment and machinery necessary throughout the plant facilities. This is a 2nd shift position that normally works 4:00 pm to 12:00pm Monday through Friday, with Saturday work depending on

Management.

Required Qualifications

Must have industrial maintenance and/or electrical experience to be considered. Reading, writing, and math skills required. Must know shop math, be able to interpret drawings, and use required tools. Must be proficient in at least three of the following

areas: Pipe fitting/plumbing, welding, the operation of shop machinery, sheet metal, millwright, refrigeration, hydraulics, pneumatics, automatic equipment operation (set-up, repair, and tear down), or boiler operation. Must supply own hand tools.

Preferred Qualifications

High school degree or equivalent preferred.
